Quick summary: New subscribers may request a refund within 7 days of their first payment, provided the Service has not been significantly used. Refunds are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. All payments are processed by Paddle Billing.
Paddle as Merchant of Record
All WinProposal subscriptions are billed and managed by Paddle Billing, our Merchant of Record. Paddle is responsible for processing your payment, issuing invoices, handling sales tax, and — in some cases — processing refund requests directly.
Refund Eligibility
We offer refund consideration under the following conditions:
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 calendar days of your first subscription payment.
Eligibility is based on low usage. Accounts with significant proposal generation activity are not eligible.
The 7-day window applies to the first billing period only. Renewals and subsequent cycles are not eligible.
What Counts as Significant Usage
We assess each refund request individually. Factors that indicate significant usage and may affect eligibility include:
- Generating more than 5 proposals during the refund window
- Exporting or downloading multiple proposals
- Completing full profile setup followed by sustained generation activity
- Patterns consistent with extracting value from the Service before requesting a refund
When Refunds Are Not Available
- Renewal charges after the first billing period
- Requests submitted more than 7 days after the initial purchase date
- Accounts with significant usage during the refund window
- Cancellations mid-cycle (access continues until the end of the current period)
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at support@winproposal.io with the subject line "Refund Request" and include the email address associated with your WinProposal account and the date of your first payment.
We respond to all refund requests within 2 business days.
Cancellation vs. Refund
- Cancellation stops your subscription from renewing at the end of the current period.
- Refund returns the amount charged and ends your subscription immediately.
Chargebacks
We ask that you contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. Unauthorised chargebacks may result in account suspension while the dispute is investigated.
